Purchasing a hospital bed

I am writing to see if you could provide me with information about purchasing a used hospital bed for young person with multiple physical challenges.

----------

If the young person that you are helping is receiving care from the Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) their case manager should be able to assist in sourcing out that equipment for them. If they are not receiving care from the CCAC you may want to call and speak to a case manager about any government programs that could assist with the purchase of a bed. In addition, many OHCA members sell medical supplies and may be able to direct you. Please visit our list of members.

The OHCA posts questions and responses that reflect the nature of inquiry received. Names and circumstances have been changed.
